Finding Home is not your typical romance novel - it's so much more! It’s a complex story that contains adventure and mystery; I thoroughly enjoyed this first novel by Kristen Casey.The characters were well-developed, realistic, and likable. I loved the dialogue between all the various characters; it was very well written and natural so that it made the characters relatable. I was quickly pulled into the story and couldn’t wait to see what happened.
The plot kept me on my toes and I wasn’t sure who I could trust. Though I had an idea of who was involved, I did not guess the full extent of what was entailed in the mystery because there were some nice twists and turns in the plot which kept it intriguing.
Not only did I enjoy the characters and the plot, but I also liked how the author broke up the book. I enjoyed the style of alternating chapters to give different points of view. Additionally, the short paragraphs were a nice length so that I could start and finish one (or more) during my lunch or while waiting to pick my kids up from an activity. Furthermore, Casey's use of journal entries gave additional insight into how the characters were feeling and it lent itself to a smooth read.
I am hoping to see many more novels by this new author!

Can't put this book down! Very enjoyable and looking forward to the rest of the series.
What a great read from a new author! I couldn't put the book down once the plot thickened and the romance got heated. Great job, Kristen! Looking forward to the next one.
Just finished reading Finding Home and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had everything- likeable, well developed characters, mystery and suspense, and romance! The story drew me in and left me hoping for another book about what comes next for these characters! I can't wait to read Kristen's next book!
